Qualcomm is rolling out a new processor called the Snapdragon 8150 that will be formally announced on December 4. Until then, we can only speculate what this new chipset can do aside from the already known details about it.
From here on out, it seems that Qualcomm will stick to the four-digit naming of its processors. The Snapdragon 8150 adopts a new CPU design with a large cluster of two cores, a medium cluster with two large cores and four smaller cores. This design is said to be optimized for power efficiency. The 8150 will be coupled with an Adreno 640 GPU, with the whole platform expected to be 20% more efficient.
