It seems that 2017 continues to bring more hype as we approach the annual IFA, and the eventual launch of top devices like the Galaxy Note 8 and Pixel 2. On LG’s side of things, though, the hype lies with the upcoming LG V30.
As the first LG device powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC, the V30 officially launches on August 31. Additionally, the company also announced that the official release will happen on September 15. For Western fans, LG will open V30 pre-orders in the US on September 17. Afterwards, they’ll get an official launch on September 28. Meanwhile, the rest of the world can look forward to the global launch on September 28.
LG looks to continue a traditional approach as started with the LG G6, especially since recent leaks confirmed that the secondary display will not happen with the V30.
As for what we’re expecting from the V30, it seems that LG will be taking a more conservative approach. Previous renders and leaks have confirmed that the secondary display will be removed, in fact.
