YouTube is launching its Music and Premium subscription services in the Philippines.
The service, according to Google ads on the streaming platform, provides uninterrupted, ad-free music streaming from YouTube. It also allows one to browse through songs and music videos on YouTube based on genres, playlists, and recommendations. Moreover, YouTube Music allows you to play music from the site or app even when the device display is off.
Another service launching this month is YouTube Premium, where a user can get an ad-free video streaming experience. The subscription service also enables you to keep watching YouTube videos through a pop-up even when using other apps.
As of this time, You can already subscribe to the new services. YouTube Music can be subscribed separately from YouTube Premium. The latter, meanwhile, has YouTube Music bundled in its subscription services. You can opt-in for an individual plan or a family plan good for five people. Both come with a free one month trial for new users. Here are the monthly fees for the Philippines:
- YouTube Music (individual) – Php 129
- YouTube Music (Family) – Php 199
- YouTube Premium (individual) – Php 159
- YouTube Premium (Family) – Php 239
