Vivo has officially introduced the new APEX 2019–a concept smartphone with a curved-surface waterdrop glass body with no openings, seams, or bezels.
Vivo’s first 5G handset, the APEX 2019 updates last year’s APEX FullView with all-new cutting-edge technologies, design, and features. This year’s iteration boasts a bezel-less FullView design with no physical buttons and ports at all. The device makes use of Touch Sense technology, which combines capacitive touch and pressure-sensing. Instead of USB ports, the handset features a MagPort–a magnetic power connector that enables charging and data transfer. In addition, the display doubles as a speaker via Body SoundCasting technology.

For security, this Vivo concept phone comes with Full-Display Fingerprint Scanning technology that lets you unlock the phone anywhere on the screen. Plus, the Fingerprint Light function lights up the pixels around the touch point.
This futuristic device comes powered by 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB internal storage. The Apex 2019 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 and comes equipped with Jovi AI assistant.
The Vivo APEX 2019 will be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona at the end of February.
