The Samsung Galaxy Tab will arrive in the local market next week with a starting price of Php34,990 for the 16GB version.
For those who are still not yet familiar with the Galaxy Tab, it’s a mid-sized tablet with a 7″ display running on Android that’s supposed to rival Apple’s iPad. This one has more use than iPad because aside from browsing, you can also place calls and and send SMS messages. At the same time, you can also use it to read e-books, play Android games, watch videos, take photos, etc.
No word yet if Smart, Globe or Sun will be infusing the Galaxy Tab on their postpaid plans but the Php35k price tag is the unlocked version so feel free to use any sim card.
