Biggest news of the day for Apple fans would be the thinner, new MacBook Air. MacBook Airs I mean since you can now choose between the 13.3-inch Air and its smaller brother, the 11.6-inch version.
If you thought that the first MacBook Air can’t get any thinner, guess again as these new Airs are thinner (2 mm thinner) and lighter with a unibody construction. The new MacBook Air also has the buttonless multitouch trackpad following the rest of the MacBook line as well as another USB port.
As for the power? Apple decided to stay with the Intel Core 2 Duo instead of the newer Core i3s or i5s. The 11.6-inch model has the ultra-low voltage Core 2 Duo though (SU9400). Both models gets NVIDIA 320m graphics processor which is the same one they had inside the MacBook Pro. Hard drive was replaced with a Solid State Drive (SSD) for better handling, faster startups and longer battery life.
With no optical drives, Apple graciously included a thumb drive for Mac OS X and iLife install incase you need to do a restore.
