While rumors about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 lineup already litter the tech news grapevine, more substantial evidence recently came up with listed Olixar pre-order cases for both the S9 and S9 Plus.
Thanks to listings by MobileFun, we now know something confirmable about the design of the devices. Now, the question remains as to whether or not Samsung will switch up the placement of the fingerprint scanner. In fact, we might get the possibility of someday having a Samsung phone with an in-display scanner. Olixar placed the case listings on MobileFun, and the evidence points to a likely placement on the spot directly below the camera module. While this may not fulfill the in-display scanner idea, this definitely feels like a welcome design change.
Additionally, Samsung plans to separate the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. In fact, Samsung might offer notably better specs for the Galaxy S9 Plus. Of particular interest is a vertica orientation for the dual-camera setup on the S9 Plus. Inversely, the standardy S9 only gets a single-lens rear camera.
