In an unexpected move from game publisher Take-Two, Civilization VI just went mobile. The launch introduces the critically-acclaimed strategy game to modern Apple tablets.
From the trailer, it seems that the game doesn’t cut any corners. Overall, this looks like the fully-featured version of the game, complete local multiplayer. In fact, the App Store description says that it provides ‘the full, award-winning Civilization VI experience’.
This doesn’t mark the first time a major strategy game made it to mobile, though. In the past, Take-Two also released the original remake of XCOM. However, do note that it will retail for the full PC price as well, at USD 59.99 (roughly PHP 3,012). On the bright side, the demo of the game is free, allowing you to lay through the first 60 turns. Additionally, the game will get a half off discount until January 4, 2018.
