During the launching event earlier today, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) shared the stage with its smaller sibling – the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016).
Apart from a few minor downgrades, the Galaxy A5 (2016) is virtually the same as Galaxy A7 (2016) in terms of design and feature set go. Both handsets are equipped with a Super AMOLED panel at the front with 1080 x 1920 resolution, a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS that’s paired to 13-megapixel rear camera that’s paired to an 28mm f/1.9 lens, and a fingerprint sensor.
Other noteworthy features that was carried from the Galaxy A7 (2016) to the Galaxy A5 (2016) include support for ANT+ feature, 16GB on-board storage, and a pair of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 that’s laid on top of the handset’s screen and posterior.
The differentiating features of the Galaxy A5 (2016) that sets it apart from its bigger brother are the screen size (5.2-inch), internal setup (Exynos 7580 + 2GB RAM), and battery capacity (2,900mAh).
