NVIDIA just announced the latest GeForce RTX 20-Series SUPER graphics cards – the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, and GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER. Packed with architectural as well as Ray Tracing improvements, the new GeForce RTX 20-Series SUPER GPUs delivers an increased performance of up to 25% more than its predecessors.
GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER GPU
Faster than the GTX 1080, the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER GPU comes with an extra 2GB VRAM for a total of 14Gbps GDDR6 VRAM, a Memory Bandwidth increase of 33.2%, and an additional 256 CUDA Cores, 32 Tensor Cores and 4 RT Cores. With these upgrades, the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER improves gameplay by up to 22% and provides 15% better performance than the GeForce RTX 2060. The GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER also performs faster than the GeForce GTX 1080.
GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GPU
The GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER delivers an increase of 25% gaming performance over the GeForce RTX 2070 with its extra 256 CUDA Cores, 32 Tensor Cores, and 4 RT Cores, and 150 MHz Boost Clock bump. The GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER’s performance trumps that of the previous flagship GTX 1080 Ti.
GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GPU
The fastest GPU among the RTX 20-series GPUs, the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GPU packs an additional CUDA, RT and Tensor Cores, as well as 15.5 Gbps GDDR6 VRAM, increasing the memory bandwidth to 496.1 GB/s for a a 10.7% improvement. Additionally, the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GPU also able to increase its GPU Boost Clock from 105 MHz to 1815 MHz easily, outpacing the NVIDIA TITAN Xp and other GeForce GPUs (aside from the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti).
GeForce RTX 20-series SUPER GPU Pricing and Availability
Pricing for the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER starts at USD 399 while the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER starts at USD 499, both will be available starting July 9. The GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER on the other hand will be available starting July 23 with a starting price of USD 699.
FrameView
Together with the GeForce SUPER GPUs, NVIDIA also launched the FrameView, an in-game performance and GPU monitoring tool which provides detailed metrics (framerates, frametimes, power, etc) in real time.
