Huawei Philippines has formally launched what the company considers as its “most advanced flagship smartphone” to date, the Huawei Mate 8, in the country.
A successor to the Ascend Mate 7, the Huawei Mate 8 has all the features one would expect from a high-caliber smartphone. It has a spacious 6-inch display with 1080p resolution that’s bulwarked by a sheet of Corning Gorilla Glass 4, a very respectable engine under the hood which include the company’s own HiSilicon Kirin 950 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on-board that can be expanded via microSD card.
If you guys can remember, the Mate 8 would’ve made it to our list of smartphones with at least 4,000mAh battery. But during then the premium handset has yet to make its local debut, so we instead parked it under the smartphones that you can look forward to in the near future. We’re glad to know that consumers who values battery life will now have an additional smartphone to choose from!
