Michael Cinco, a globally recognized Filipino fashion designer, will present his designs at the Philippine Blockchain Week in the country’s first-ever Metaverse Fashion Gala on September 12 at Newport World Resorts Manila’s Marriott Grand Ballroom.
During the Gala, Collectors will be treated to a display of iconic Cinco pieces, while in the Metaverse, the runway models’ avatars will be seen sporting the same attire. Fashion enthusiasts will also be allowed to take home their favorite pieces which will be available for purchase through an exclusive pre-sale, wherein it’ll include special edition digital collectibles aside from the actual gowns.
In addition, PBW delegates will be able to see the exhibit of Michael Cinco gowns that are displayed at the PBW location.
World Wildlife Fund and Global Reskilling Movement will also receive parts of the proceeds from the Michael Cinco Metaverse Fashion Gala.
Cinco said, “Fashion has always been about redefining barriers, and right now, there’s no bigger barrier than taking what’s physical into the digital,” he added “I’m excited to be partnering with PBW and even more excited for everyone to see what we have planned.”
