In this year’s International Day of Disabled Persons, CHERRY Cares joined the United Nations celebration by supporting bias-free employment.
During the International Day of Disabled Persons, which happens every 3rd of December, more knowledge is shown on how important inclusivity is in the present. In relation, CHERRY Philippines is starting to grow its partnerships with PWD content creators, one of the first being the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) known as “DEAFinitely Beautiful”, Erline Grace Maniquis.
She has been showing how accessible and beneficial CHERRY products can be to people with disabilities thanks to its smart home products, made to also meet the needs of the PWD community. Erline said the CHERRY Smart Windoor Sensor makes her feel safer as she can get real-time alerts and see who entered her room.
Agnes Conopio, PR-CSR Senior Manager said, “We are glad to play a part in opening opportunities for PWDs, allowing them to overcome barriers and unlock their full potential. As we do not limit their disability; we look at their abilities that are louder than what ears can hear and what eyes can see”.
