CHERRY has recently launched a month-long free ECG testing program in celebration of National Heart Awareness Month.
CHERRY Cares spreads awareness by offering free ECG testing to 100 indigent patients at Tondo Medical Center. This project includes a thorough examination conducted by healthcare professionals and is available to everyone throughout the month of February.
Since heart diseases are the leading cause of death globally, it’s important to raise awareness about them. Through ECG (Electrocardiogram) testing, heart abnormalities can be detected, which will result in an early diagnosis and treatment.
Agnes Conopio, PR-CSR Senior Manager of CHERRY, said, “We want to encourage heart health and wellness within our community. Hence, individuals can take proactive steps toward understanding and safeguarding their heart health.”
