Spammer senatoriable

We talked about the emerging new ways for candidates to connect to the younger voters. Some candidates have websites of their own. They are even using Friendster. (I wonder if there are Twitter candidates already – “Going back to Manila for a campaign sortie.. wait, chopper going down!” 🙂 )

But sometimes, use of the internet to campaign is irritating. Yesterday, I talked about Vic Magsaysay sending spam emails. The last time I heard, spamming is illegal according to the new e-commerce law. This lawmaker wannabe doesn’t know the law? (Or at least his assistant who will most likely become part of his staff when he wins). Tsk, tsk!
