Sony Philippines unveiled back in November that the Philippines will get its highly-anticipated Android projector, the Xperia Touch. Now, interested buyers may get this one-of-a-kind gadget that will create better interactive experiences.
The biggest function of the Xperia Touch involves turning any flat surface into a 23-inch touchscreen with either a horizontal or vertical ultrashort-throw projection. Furthermore, the interface feels fast and fluid, especially when controlling the projector itself with finger swipes. In fact, one might say that it feels extrememly similar to a tablet or a smartphone screen. Sony makes this all possible via SXRD projection display technology while the touchscreen capacity combines infrared light and real-time detection. The detector camera itself functions at a rate of 60 fps.
In addition, the Xperia Touch also acts as a regular phablet, allowing for the use of mobile gates, online video streaming, and video calls via other apps. Holistically, it is not just a projector, but a smart device that works for any kind of user. Running on Android 7.0 Marshmallow, this means that the Touch will work with any Android-compatible app or game. Plus, the Sony platform allows for developers to build apps specifically geared towards the Sony Xperia Touch.
Currently, the Sony Xperia Touch retails for PHP 79,990, and is available at the Sony Centers in Glorietta and SM Megamall. For more info, check out the Sony Philippines Facebook and Twitter pages.
