The television has evolved over the years. From a simple entertainment source, it is now much more like an access point to the world from your home. In an event called “The Next Frontier” held at the Okada Manila, Samsung launched the Samsung QLED TV in the Philippines. A number of Samsung executives led by President Kevin Lee, along with dealer-partners, and members of the media were present at the event.
Korean celebrity Kim Soo Hyun was at the event as a special guest to support the local launch of the QLED TV. Also introduced were Samsung Philippines’ newest local ambassadors, filmmaker Paul Soriano and tastemaker Tessa Prieto-Valdes.
The Samsung QLED TV
Its exclusive Quantum Dot technology allows the Samsung QLED TV turn light into perfect colors for picture quality that is just above and beyond. It even offers HDR 1500 brightness and 100% color volume expression. Able to reproduce almost any color, the TV makes HDR content more vibrant and more natural.
A combination of beauty and function, the QLED TV is designed with an Invisible Connection cable for other TV connected devices. This lessens the trouble that we are all familiar with when it comes to wires and connections. There is also an option for a no-gap wall mount that lets the TV just sit against the wall. Versatility comes in the form of a variety of stands like the gravity and studio stands.
Additionally, the QLED TV’s One Remote Control can cover all connected devices for user’s ease and convenience. With the Smart View app, users can turn their mobile phones into a personal remote control as well. Users can even discover more options through the Smart Hub.
Bringing Innovation
“Each year we challenge ourselves into coming up with upgrades and innovations, but this year’s QLED TV really is the pinnacle of high-quality viewing,” shared Samsung Product Marketing Head for AV Jun Guevara. “From pure lifelike colors, to the easy-to-use One Remote Control, to attention to design inside and out—the QLED TV ends the debate and is undoubtedly the next innovation in TV.”
The new line-up of the QLED TV is available in authorized Samsung dealers nationwide. For more details, visit Samsung Philippines’ Facebook page or log on to samsung.com/ph.
