Ahead of its showcase at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2019, Samsung announced its latest lineup of monitors. The Korean company unveiled three new monitors: the modern and minimalist Space Monitor, the ultra-wide and gaming-centric CRG9 monitor, and the stunning 4K UHD curved monitor for content creators.
The 2019 Samsung Monitors are designed for modern workspaces, next-generation gaming, and maximum productivity. These Samsung displays feature ultra-wide screens, lifelike colors, and space-saving designs.
Take a closer look at each monitor.
Space Monitor
Sleek and functional, the Samsung Space Monitor boasts a minimalist fully-integrated arm that clamps to the desk and frees up desk space. It can also be lowered to the desk surface. Meanwhile, a simple push back stores the monitor flat against the wall. This display also features ergonomic design, with accessible ports and discreet cable management.
The Samsung Space Monitor has two models: the 27-inch variant with QHD resolution and the 32-inch model in 4K UHD.
CRG9 Gaming Monitor
The CRG9 Gaming Monitor promises to bring the ultimate gaming experience with its super ultra-wide screen. This 49-inch display has a 32:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and fast 4ms response time. The Dual QHD monitor also features AMD Radeon FreeSync™ 2 HDR technology to reduce stutter, screen tearing, and input latency.
The HDR10 technology in this screen offers a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, while the 1,800mm screen curvature provide excellent viewing angles. Meanwhile, Samsung’s proprietary Quantum dot technology allows for a wide range and accurate color reproduction.
Another feature on the CRG9 monitor are the PBP (Picture-by-Picture functionality. For connectivity, it has one HDMI port, two Display Ports, USB 3.0, and headphone connection.
UR59C 32-inch Monitor
Designed for content creators, the UR59C monitor features a UHD curved display with 2,500:1 contrast ratio. This 32-inch monitor also supports full 3840 x 2160 4K UHD resolution. With 1500R curvature, this monitor flaunts a slim design at only 6.7mm depth and a fabric-textured rear. This 3-sided bezel-less screen stands a slender, sturdy V-slim metal base.
