During the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung has also unveiled new wearable devices and accessories including the Samsung Gear Fit.
The Samsung Gear Fit has a curved 1.84″ super AMOLED touch screen which fits perfectly on the wrist. Just like other fitness bands, the Gear Fit features built in heart rate monitor and pedometer and shows physical data such as calories burned, steps walked, distance ran, etc. You can also set your fitness and training goals and track your progress with the Samsung Gear Fit. It also has a timer and stopwatch functionality.
Aside from being a fitness band, the Samsung Gear Fit can also notify you of emails, SMS, calls and moreover allow you to reject calls with messages. It can also be used as a music controller.
The Gear Fit has a customizable wallpaper, clock style, background and best of all Samsung is in collaboration with designer brands like Nicholas Kirkwood, Moschino and Swarovski for alternate straps. The Samsung Gear Fit is currently available in Black, Orange and Mocha Grey.
The Samsung Gear Fit will be available on April 12, 2014 with an SRP of Php 8,990.
