DxOMark recently gave the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus one of the highest marks it ever gave for a smartphone’s camera setup at 99. With this accolade, it seems that this device will tout the best smartphone camera yet.
Pre-orders likely go-up on March 2, and the pair of 12-megapixel rear shooters will definitely sell to the consumer base. Not only that, but its variable aperture lens earned a score of 104 in still photos, while the video capture garnered a 91. The DxOMark testing process covers almost every part of the photography process, which also includes features found only in smartphones. Example tests include bright light and low light scenarios, the bokeh effect, zoom, and video capture. Now, time will tell if the Galaxy S9 can score similarly to its higher-end sibling.
