Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is making its name relevant in the Philippine market with the launch of the “Camera Beast”, Redmi Note 5.
On May 11, the technology provider said Redmi Note 5’s presence in the local smartphone market will raise the standard for mobile photography.
The Redmi Note 5 is equipped with integrated AI (artificial intelligence), including AI Portrait Mode for background blurring or adding bokeh, AI Beutify 4.0 for natural-looking enhancements, and face-unlocking feature.
The device boasts its dual camera set-up commonly found in flagship smartphones, and also has Dual Pixel technology which makes it easier to deliver autofocus speeds.
Redmi Note 5’s front camera also fits Filipinos’ need for a perfect selfie as it sports 13-megapixel sensor with a LED selfie light. Also, the smartphone has rear fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi Note 5 is priced at P11, 990 and is now available at authorized Mi stores at Trinoma and SM Megamall.
