The Realme 6 Series continues Realme’s tradition of offering powerful devices at bang-for-the-buck prices. The middle sibling in the lineup, the Realme 6, promises to be an affordable yet truly competitive gaming smartphone with its MediaTek Helio G90T chipset.
The Realme 6 ships in two configurations: the 4GB+128GB model that sells for P11,990 and the 8GB+128GB that retails for P13,990. Check out the other features and specifications of this midrange Realme device below. Read on.
Design & Construction
The Realme 6 arrives with a simple but pretty gradient finish–in Comet Blue or Comet White. It has a glossy coating that may be a magnet to smudges and fingerprints. Realme solves that with the bundled jelly case with the phone.
Still on the rear, the four cameras line up vertically on the upper left corner. The Realme logo sits on the same side but on the lower half at the back.
The left side of the smartphone features the volume rocker. The SIM/SD slot with the triple card tray is also available on the left. Meanwhile, the right side sports the power button, which is also the device’s side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Typically, the headphone jack and USB C charging/connectivity port can be found at the bottom. The main microphone and loudspeaker are also located at the bottom.
Flip to the front and you see the huge screen with a punch-hole at the top left corner. This houses the front shooter.
Display & Multimedia
The Realme 6 flaunts a large IPS LCD display at 6.5 inches. It offers Full HD+ 2400 x 1080 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
Users can enjoy the fresh Realme UI, which is based on Android 10, on the Realme 6′ screen.
Camera
The main camera system sports four cameras. The main camera is a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor with an F1.8 aperture. To support, the quad setup also includes an 8MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro snapper. It can record 4K video at 3fps and has support for UIS video stabilization. In front, users get a 16-megapixel camera with an F2.0 aperture.
Performance
Under the hood, the Realme 6 has an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor. It comes paired with a Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. This smartphone also ships with 4GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is still expandable via microSD.
For connectivity, this realme handset arrives with dual SIM and 4G LTE support. It offers connectivity via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB C. Available sensors are GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, and BS.
Powering this device is a 4300mAh battery. It also has support for 30W VOOC fast charging.
