Project Twinkle, whose objective is to spread and give support during the holiday season, continues to give help in its fourth year.
CHERRY Cares mainly focused on helping different child-care institutions, homes for the elderly, street families, and the IP community last 2023 for Project Twinkle. Specifically, MBTC Manila Kids Home, Concordia Children Services, Inc., the Minstrels Rhythm of Hope Foundation, Kanlungan sa Er-Ma, Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC), Laura Vicuña Foundation, House of Somang in Parañaque, and the IP Community of Sitio Magata, Tanay Rizal.
The children were given Jollibee meals and Cosmic Plush Toys, food items with hygiene kits, as well as other gifts that were on the receiver’s wish list. 100 street families from different parts of Manila were also given a Media Noche package with the help of DSWD-NCR.
PR and CSR Senior Manager of CHERRY, Anges Conopio said, “We are happy to light up lives and make this season brighter through our Project Twinkle. We’ve been doing this for quite some time. This is our CEO, Mr. Maynard Ngu’s way of returning the gratitude by simply giving back”.
