Made in Philippines (MIPH) and Oasis Gaming won Dota 2 and VALORANT at the Predator League 2024 Philippine Finals last November 11 and 12 in SM North EDSA Cyberzone.
The two teams will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals in January 2024.
Made in Philippines (MIPH) took on the Smurfers in the Dota 2 grand final, and the team defeated Wong “ChuaN” Hock Chuan and Ryan “Raging Potato” Qui-led Neon Esports with a score of 2-1. They also swept InterActive Philippines 2-0 with skill.
In the final match, MIPH defeated the smurfers winning 2-0 to take home the PHP 250,000 prize money. Meanwhile, the runner-up got PHP 100,000, and PHP 55,000 was given to Neon Esports and InterActive Philippines, respectively.
During the VALORANT championship, Oasis Gaming overcame a 1-0 deficit to get past NAOS Esports, 2-1, in the semifinals. ZOL Esports also won against Valhalla in a hard-fought three-game match to go up against Oasis in the final, and the Oasis squad easily overcame ZOL Esports, 2-0, taking the title home.
Oasis Gaming received PHP 250,000, while ZOL was given PHP 100,000, and NAOS Esports and Valhalla received PHP 55,000.
Made in the Philippines is anticipated to face other Dota 2 teams in the region, such as Blacklist International, Execration, and the reigning Asia Pacific Predator League champions Polaris Esports, at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on January 13–14, 2024.
Furthermore, Oasis Gaming and ZOL Esports will also take on Team Secret, one of the most prestigious teams in the VCT Pacific League, which is led by a Filipino.
