Among the 26 teams battling for the top spot in the Dota 2 and VALORANT tournaments, Blacklist Rivalry and Team Secret triumphed and took home the coveted Predator Shield in their respective divisions.
The Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 came to an end on January 14, 2024, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Philippines. This event was a success due to its sold-out arenas and online spectators who followed the two-day event via Predator social media channels.
In the Dota 2 grand finals, Blacklist Rivalry defeated Execration. Leading his team’s attack in the series with an average of 8.5 kills and 14 assists, Abed “Abed” Yusop was in excellent form. They were successful in stopping Execration’s star player, Mark “Bob” Urbino, which led to a defeat for their team and another second-place finish in the Predator League grand finals.
Blacklist Rivalry won a monetary award of $65,000 as this year’s DOTA 2 Champions, while Execration will get $20,000. In addition, the third and fourth-place winners in Team Aster from China and IHC Esports from Mongolia will each get $7,500.
In addition, Team Secret dominated the Japanese side’s FAV gaming, and Adrian “Invy” Reyes continued to be the team’s greatest player.
Team Secret takes home the $65,000 prize pool, while FAV Gaming receives $20,000. BOOM Esports from Indonesia and Team Flash from Vietnam, who finished third and fourth, respectively, also took home $7,500.
