Update: OPPO F1 Plus launched in PH, now available for pre-order until April 29
Just nearly two weeks after OPPO officially announced both the OPPO R9 and the OPPO R9 Plus in China, the company has its eyes set on the global scene and launched the selfie-centric handset called the OPPO F1 Plus.
Contrary to some of the rumors circulating around the web prior to the launch of the OPPO F1 Plus, the handset isn’t actually new. Instead, it’s a rebadged OPPO R9 that’s meant for other markets outside of China.
Other than the model name, OPPO didn’t change a whole lot on the new F1 Plus. It still has that chic metal design, a 5.5-inch display that’s bordered only by 1.66mm thin bezels on both sides, and more importantly a 16-megapixel front camera that should be please selfie lovers out there.

The new OPPO F1 Plus made its debut in India today with a INR 26,990 sticker price attached to it. Other markets are expected to follow suit in the coming weeks, and the handset is expected to make its way to Europe next month.
