Along with the new OPPO R9, the Guangdong-based company also unveiled a 6-inch phablet, the OPPO R9 Plus. It shares the same sophisticated design and the 16-megapixel front-facing camera of the its smaller sibling, but it runs on a Qualcomm processor, has a larger battery pack, and a better rear camera that is capable of shooting 4K video.

Unlike the OPPO R9, the OPPO R9 Plus will hit shelves in April instead of later this month. As is expected from a bigger and more featured model, the OPPO R9 Plus will be slightly more expensive than its smaller counterpart with the 64GB variant pegged at RMB 3,299.
