Focusing on strengthening the appeal of the Asha Touch phones, Nokia partnered with top Facebook game publisher, Zynga, to bring more games to the budget-friendly Asha line.
Two hit Zynga games are slated to be available to Nokia Asha Touch devices in Q3 of 2012. The popular social drawing and guessing game, Draw Something, and also the virtual poker game, Zynga Poker, will soon arrive to your Asha 311, 305, and 306.
This announcement reinforces Nokia’s commitment in delivering popular apps and games to consumers on the Nokia Series 40 devices which includes the Nokia Asha Touch range. Before Zynga, Nokia already partnered with EA, Gameloft, NAMCO BANDAI, and Angry Birds maker Rovio.
“It’s great to expand our offering of Zynga games to deliver more blockbuster titles across our portfolio of mobile devices, giving consumers great choice and tremendous value,” said Bryan Biniak, VP & GM, Global Partnering & Application Development, Nokia. “With premium design, powerful hardware and outstanding gaming capabilities, we’re redefining what consumers expect from today’s feature phone experience.”

Good to see that Nokia is trying hard to comeback in mobile market. Apple and Samsung are just dominating nowadays, for Nokia to compete with these two giant, they need to come out with something unusual.
FYI, 2nd pa rin ang Nokia sa overall phone market,at 3rd lang ang Apple…
nag 2nd lang ang Apple sa smartphone market…
i wonder why they’re focusing more on their dumbphones and not on the lumia. are they ditching upgrades or marketing for the current lumia lineup while waiting for windows phone 8?
