Motorola’s new Android One devices, the Moto One and One Power, have been stirring up controversy for looking too much like the iPhone X. This made a lot of people skeptical that the phones will ever be released in the US, where there are strict copyright laws. But Motorola has announced that the device will soon be hitting the American market.
The variant to be sold in the US will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset, and will have a 5.9-inch LCD capacitive touchscreen, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, and a battery capacity of 3,000mAh. It will run on an Android 8.0 Oreo OS, but updates to Android Pie and Android Q are already underway. One downside to the Moto One is that it’s currently only compatible with GSM networks.
The Moto One will sell for a suggested retail price of $399 (Php 21,210), and will be available in Best Buy starting November 9.
