Over at CES 2013, Lenovo introduced a number of new Android smartphones. Two of which are affordable dual-SIM phones that will be arriving in our country this month.
The Lenovo A800 is a well-rounded Android phone with a range of specs normally reserved for phones higher than its SRP.
The A800 has a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480) touchscreen IPS display running on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. It is equipped with a dual core, 1.2GHz CPU, 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage with microSD support. It also comes dual SIM slots for switching between data plans on the go, and an above-average 2000 mAh battery.
This phone will retail for Php6,999 once it arrives later this month.
The Lenovo A690 on the other hand is more for the budget-conscious user looking for an entry-level Android phone.
The A690 doesn’t try to be flashy with its 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) screen and single-core 1GHz processor running on Android Gingerbread. That’s alright but we’re not fond of its 512MB RAM and 512MB ROM although an option for microSD is available. It does have dual-SIM capability to suit most Pinoys nowadays. Battery for the A690 is rated at 1500 mAh.
This phone will retail for just Php5,299 and should be available within the month.
