Honor 10 Lite has only been available for a few weeks now in China, but it is already taking the country by storm. With an impressive 24 MP selfie snapper, competitive chipset and able battery, the device is so much more than its stunning design. Read on for the amazing Honor 10 Lite‘s features.
Design
The 10 Lite’s rear design is common, but still stunning nevertheless. It doesn’t matter if you choose the White, Black, Blue, or Red color option, the device’s aurora color effect is simply mesmerizing. The device weighs at 162g, and has dimensions of 154.8 x 73.6 x 8 mm. Its edges are slightly curved, making one-handed operation possible. At the front of the device is a teardrop shaped notch, housing the camera for selfies and facial recognition unlocking.
The 10 Lite’s fingerprint scanner is stationed at the middle of its rear, for easier access. However, a rear fingerprint sensor also means that users would have to pick their phone, to unlock their device using their fingerprints.
At the bottom of the device, users can find the single speaker, a micro-USB port, and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack.
Display
The Honor 10 Lite has a 6.21” IPS LCD Capacitive Touchscreen Display. It also has a 2230×1080 FHD+ resolution and 415 ppi density.
Camera
The rear camera setup comprises of a 13 MP, f/1.8 main camera, and a 2 MP sensor. Aside from LED flash, HDR, and Panorama features, the cameras can also shoot videos at 1080p @ 30fps. At the front is the decent 24 MP, f/2.0 selfie snapper with HDR feature and the same video quality of 1080p @ 30 fps.
Performance & Battery
The device runs on Android 9 Pie and EMUI 9.0. Its Hisilicon Kirin 710 chipset os packed with an Octa-core CPU, and Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. Users have a choice between 64/128 GB of internal storage with 6 GB RAM or 64 GB of internal storage with 4 GB RAM for their devices. The 10 Lite also supports up to 512 GB of external storage through a sim 2 slot. The 10 Lite has a 3,400 mAh battery that can easily keep up with your basic use for a day. However, the battery wouldn’t be able to last that long for gaming and other intensive apps.
Pricing and Availability
The 6 GB internal storage and 4 GM RAM variant of the Honor 10 Lite is available for CNY 1,399 (~PHP 10,600) and the 64 GB internal storage with 6 GB of RAM is at CNY 1,699 (~PHP12,900). Lastly, the 128 GB internal storage and 6 GB of RAM is priced at CNY 1,899 (~PHP14,400). The device is only available in China for now, but we are hoping for a Philippine launch soon.
