Amid rumors about the possible unveiling of two Pixel 3 smartphones, the online rumor hill has it that Google will also be launching a mid-range smartphone which will be launched by the first half of this year.
According to tipster Roland Quandt (@rquandt), the new Pixel phone will have the Snapdragon 710 under its hood, a common processor for mid-range smartphones in the market today.
The leak supports the Economic Times report two months ago about Google releasing mid-range devices intended for emerging markets like India.
While there isn’t much known about the unnamed mid-range Pixel phone, the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL have been a topic for online discussion for quite some time now.
Reports about the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL started with a leak of their screen protectors which suggests a notch for the Pixel 3 XL and a top and bottom bezel for the Pixel 3.
Moreover, the leaked photo of the screen protector of both smartphones reveal dual-front facing cameras and front-firing speakers.
Stay tuned as we all wait for the final details of Google’s new Pixel smartphones.
