Google’s mid-range Pixel phone might just launch in July, reports Economic Times.
Mid-range Pixel phone coming to India soon
The search engine giant currently covers entry-level smartphone options with Android Go, budget with Android One, and premium with Pixel 2. On a related note, Economic Times first reported the company launch a mid-range Pixel for emerging markets like India come July or August.
Features and specifications on the phone have yet to surface. India now remains loyal to OnePlus after the Nexus series. Nonetheless, the company pushes through with the expansion of its products in the country. It reportedly seeks to bring Google Home, Wifi, and the Pixelbook, to India soon.
Through Reliance Jio, Google aims to bring cheap 4G internet to India, reports ET. It also plans on competing head on with Samsung and Apple through its product expansion.
Redington, the company’s hardware distribution, will also expand its reach across the board. Furthermore, Google plans on setting up specially designed exclusive venues like Apple.
