World-leading civilian drone maker, DJI, officially revealed the DJI Spark to the Philippine market. This easy-to-use mini camera drone is compact and light enough to fly from the palm of your hand in order to take photos you normally could not.

The DJI Spark stands as the first drone that operates via hand gestures alone. In short, the technology behind the Spark successfully removes any difficulties in operating the drone itself. This results in a drone that allows for intuitive learning for those new to drone technology.

DJI Spark Features

When operating the Spark, it immediately enters Gesture Mode once it flies off. From there, PalmControl will pick up your gestures and translate them into commands for the Spark. Additionally, Spark has been designed to be the perfect portable lifestyle accessory. It fits easily in almost any bag and weighs around 300 grams.

In terms of other flight functions, Spark sports modes like the Quickshot Intelligent Flight Mode. This mode makes the Spark fly along a preset flight path while recording video. Besides that, it also contains a Sport Mode, Pano, and ShallowFocus.

The camera itself seems impressive, equipped with a 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor and a 2-axis mechanical gimbal. The DJI Spark captures images of up to 12-megapixels and videos of up to 1080p HD. Photos may be edited using the DJI GO 4 app, and then shared directly to almost any social media website.

Retailing at PHP 30,500, the DJI Spark will come in five different colors. These variants include Alpine White, Sky Blue, Meadow Green, Lava Red, and Sunrise Yellow. Meanwhile, the Spark Fly More Combo will include the entire Spark package plus additional freebies. This package retails at PHP 42,700.
