From portable speakers to docking stations, Singapore-based company, Divoom, finally released their new Bluetooth speakers. Here’s our take on the Divoom BlueTune-2.
The body of the BlueTune-2 is made of shiny plastic with a metal grill that protects the 2.8in speakers in front. At the top are the volume buttons plus the Connect button in the middle. Around the Connect button is the color LED indicator that tells whether your speaker is on standby mode (white) or paired with a device (blue).
The back part houses the port for the AC/DC adaptor (left), and the 3.5mm AUX IN (middle) where you can connect your MP3 players without the Bluetooth connectivity. Also situated at the back is the power button (right).
Pairing is very easy and hassle-free. All you have to do is press and hold the Connect button for 3 seconds until the LED indicator flashes rapidly with white color.
Make sure that the Bluetooth feature on your iPod or MP3 player is turned on. You will know that you are connected when the LED turns blue.
The speaker can go loud without any noticeable distortion. Sound output was very clean and bassy, but it will be a plus if your MP3 player has an equalizer so that you can adjust the high (treble) and low (bass) frequencies based on your tunes.
The BlueTune-2 comes in two loud colors (neon green or hot pink) that can definitely brighten up the space it will occupy. It is not a portable speaker (requires you to be plugged in) but it will be perfect for your indoor listening needs. Overall, the design should complement any modern living space and the speaker produces a decent sound output that can fill a studio unit or bedroom.
If you are looking for a sound system that’s inexpensive, stylish, and has wireless connectivity, then you might want to consider the Divoom BlueTune-2 which retails for Php4,690. It’s already available in Astrovision, SM Appliance Center, and Rustan’s Department Store.

Hi Zo! It can go pretty loud… enough to annoy the neighbors if you’re living in a condo. 😛

how to connect the computer this divoom bluetune2 bluetooth
use an audio cable or make sure your computer has bluetooth
parang mahal for a simple bluetooth speaker. sana pwede rin sya maging ipod dock to charge the ipod.
