Dell Philippines updated its lineup of PC products in the local market during its 15th anniversary last Tuesday ranging from laptops, desktop PCs, including monitors.
Executives of Dell Philippines led by country manager Christopher Papa unveiled in Makati City the Latitude 3000 and 5000 Series laptops, the OptiPlex 9020 and 3020 Micro desktop PCs now all available in the local market. They likewise introduced the Latitude 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 detachable laptop and the Ultra HD 5K Monitor which will be both available in the fourth quarter of this year.
Dubbed “laptop-first” 2-in-1, the Latitude 7000 series offers 13.3-inch and a professional ISO-certified backlit keyboard, including the Instant Go from sleep mode, a feature usually reserved for smartphones and traditional tablets.
Meanwhile, the Latitude 3000 series is composed of 14-inch and 15-inch displays with touch options. It boasts of all-day battery life, a spill resistant keyboard, and up to 1 terabyte of storage. It is also said to be thinner and lighter than previous generations and backed by enterprise-class support.
The OptiPlex 9020 and 3020 Micro PCs, however, have a chassis design of only 1.2 liters, about 67% smaller than Dell’s smallest desktop form factor, and with five different mounting options fit for limited office spaces.
As for Ultra HD 5K, the monitor has 5120 x 2880 resolution, which is equivalent to four times the resolution of QHD and seven times the resolution of Full HD. It also has two 16W integrated Harmon Kardon speakers, six USB ports, and one media card reader.
