Dell’s new Inspiron Gaming laptops feature the most aggressive performance design and components offered within the entire Inspiron laptop family.
First design to note is that of the dedicated forward and rearward thermal vents, with extra-capacity heat exchangers inside. There they connect with oversized piping, as well as dual cooling fans with high-efficiency blade pitch. It’s engineered specifically to handle Intel’s latest 6th Gen H-series quad core mobile CPUs. Additionally, the Inspiron 15 7000 boasts NVIDIA’s latest GeForce GTX 950M (14) and 960M (15) discrete graphics with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory and up to 1 TB conventional or dual-drive HDD configurations. What this means for the consumer is a machine that won’t break a sweat playing even the most graphics-intensive games, or heavy hours of video-editing, which would show up on displays ranging FHD up to 4K UHD.
When we talk about the audio, it’s a complementary experience thanks to an onboard subwoofer, tailored speaker enclosures and Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio processing.
For battery life, a deep-reserve 74 WHr battery, or a 56 WHr on the 14 variant, keeps the Inspiron going for longer hours, doing more intense tasks. Finally, this latest iteration of the Inspiron gaming laptop includes a great range of standard features including new 802.11ac wireless, Gig-E RJ-45 network port, SD media card reader and USB 3.0 ports.
