Dell unveils a sleek business workhorse with up to 24 hours of battery life and a proximity sensor that wakes up the computer when you’re nearby. Say hello to the Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 laptop.
The new Dell 2-in-1 comes equipped with proximity sensor enabled by Intel Context Sensing Technology. The Express Sign-in feature of the laptop uses this sensor to detect user presence, wake the system up, and immediately scan for facial recognition to log in with Windows Hello. Additionally, the laptop recognizes when the user have left and locks itself immediately.
Touted the world’s smallest commercial 14-inch 2-in-1, the Latitude 7400 2-in-1 features a variable torque hinge. Plus, this hybrid device comes in Titan Gray machined aluminum finish. It is also the first Latitude to use Dell’s ocean-bound plastics packaging.
In terms of performance, the new Dell Latitude targets up to 24 hours of run time on a single charge. Moreover, with the ExpressCharge feature, it can charge back up to 80 percent in just an hour.
The Dell Latitude 7400 2-in-1 starts shipping early March 2019 with a starting price of $1,599 (around P83,000).
