Creative recently launched its newest line of earphones and headphones with advanced features that could pique the interest of sound enthusiasts – the HITZ Series, Sound Blaster EVO Series and the Airwave NFC Speakers.
HITZ Series
The HITZ series are their newest line of mobile headsets that come in different bold, basic colors to suit your style. As a default feature, all models come with a built-in microphone for clearer calls.
The HITZ MA200 is their noise cancelling, in-ear design model for smartphones. It comes in Black/Purple, Black/Red, White/Green, White/Pink and White/Red.
The HITZ MA350 model is an ergonomic mobile headset with volume controls designed to better manage your music and calls. It features flat tangle-resistant cable to solve one of the most annoying things about earphones. Also with a variety of colors to choose from, this model is priced at Php1,699.
Meanwhile, the HITZ MA2600, MA2400 and MA2300 are a line of headsets that consists of varying widths of Neodymium drivers to give a deep and punchy bass. These headsets are lightweight, comfortable, and colorful noise-cancelling devices that won’t break the bank. The flat-fold earcups are supported by faux earpads and headband for lasting comfort. As with the earplug HITZ models, these headsets have built-in microphones for call and chat sessions. SRP is at Php2,899, Php2,199 and Php1,699 respectively.
Sound Blaster EVO Series
Apart from the mobile handsets, Creative also launched the Sound Blaster EVO Series, taking headphones to a much higher level as it utilizes a built-in multi-core SB-Axx1 audio processor. Now you’ve got a headset that has a mind of its own, as it enhances the quality of sound real-time. It also features the CrystalVoice Focus in tandem with the SB-Axx1 processor that isolates your voice and cancels out the background when you are using the dual microphones.
Other notable features of the EVO Series are the SBX Surround for that cinematic 3D sound to compliment your movie and gaming experience; and the SBX Bass for that deep, high-impact bass. It supports Bluetooth connectivity for NFC pairing. With the high performance of the EVO Series, you could also expect the price range to be quite high.
The top of the line Sound Blaster EVO ZxR (50mm Neodymium driver) with Active Noise Cancellation costs PHP16,995. The EVO Zx (40mm Neodymium driver) costs Php10,995. The series’ entry level headsets are the EVO Wireless and EVO USB priced at Php8,995 and PHP6,995.
Airwave NFC Speakers
Lastly, the Airwave and Airwave HD portable wireless speakers are colorful and stylish products that allow you to connect with up to 2 devices (your smartphone and tablet perhaps) via NFC. Unlike the usual boxy boring type of speakers, the Airwave is interestingly triangular in shape and comes in bold colors such as red, pink, black, green and blue. It has an Aux-in connector for the option to connect wired devices. The HD variant features the Super Charged amplifier with 2 premium full-range drivers for louder sound. Battery life could last up to 12 hours of continuous use. I wasn’t able to catch the price though.

Also does the headphones with noise canceling doesn’t need any battery?
