Joining the current hype of entry-level smartphones with Android Go under the hood, local smartphone manufacturer Cherry Mobile has announced the new Cherry Mobile Flare A2 Lite.

Perfect for entry-level users, the Cherry Mobile Flare A2 Lite has a 5-inch LCD TFT screen in 18:9 screen-to-body ratio. It has a MediaTek MTK6580 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz under the hood, combined with a Mali-400 GPU, 512MB RAM and 8GB onboard storage.
In terms of optics, the Cherry Mobile Flare A2 Lite has a 5-megapixel main camera plus a 2-megapixel secondary shooter. As mentioned, it comes with an Android Go OS based on Android 8.0 Oreo. It runs on a 2,000mAh battery.
The Cherry Mobile Flare A2 Lite is now available in Cherry Mobile stores nationwide for PhP 2,499.
