Smartphone companies seem to have a standard move of announcing a special color aside from the standard ones unveiled at a certain launch. Following suit is Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus as they release a red variant of their flagship OnePlus 6.
The OnePlus 6 was launched with the initial colors of Mirror Black, Midnight Black, and a limited edition Silk White. The red variant of the OnePlus 6 was derived from the popularity of the Lava Red model of the OnePlus 5T.
According to the company, the OnePlus 6 Red version has a similar quality of a red amber but has än enduring appeal that will last for years to come.
The OnePlus 6 parades premium features like a 6.28-inch Full Optic AMOLED display, Snapdragon 845 processor, dual rear cameras comprised of 16-megapixel plus 20-megapixel, 16-megapixel front camera, and a 3,300mAh stamina.
The OnePlus 6 Red variant will come with an 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage, with a starting price of USD 579 or around PhP 31,000 when converted to local currency. No official announcement yet for OnePlus local distributor Digital Walker on whether the red variant will be available in the Philippines.
