Since October is observed as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CHERRY joins the campaign to help spread awareness.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), breast cancer has been affecting the country’s female population since the 1980s. It was also reported by the World Health Organization (2023) that breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in the world.
With CHERRY in this campaign, they shared inspiring words from the women who won against Breast Cancer, Ginalyn Tan, VP for Finance; Agnes Conopio, PR and CSR Head; and Sheree Maagma, Senior HR Officer.
Through this campaign, CHERRY emphasized the importance of check-up, regular breast self-examination, and annual mammogram.
