The wait is finally over! Canon today officially announced its first full frame mirrorless camera, the Canon EOS R. Powered by a DIGIC 8 image processor, the Canon EOS R can capture up to 30.3MP images and 4K UHD videos. The EOS R’s Dual Pixel Autofocus also provides 5,655 focus points and a fast focus speed of 0.05 seconds.
Image stabilization is also further improved with the EOS R’s Dual Sensing IS and Combination IS. The Canon EOS R also comes with a magnesium alloy body similar to Canon’s mid-end and high-end SLRs, and is dust and drip resistant.
Together with the new full frame mirroless camera, Canon also introduced its latest RF lenses and mount adapters that enables users to mount EF and EF-S lenses to the new EOS R camera.
