ASUS Philippines announces the newest members of its ZenBook, ZenBook Pro and VivoBook series: featuring the world’s most compact laptops so far. All units from this new lineup is powered by the 8th Gen Intel Core processors despite its extremely compressed size—allowing users to abide by the brand’s theme, which is for everyone to “Unleash Your Creative Power.”
The products officially introduced at the event last included the ZenBook 13 UX333 (price starting at Php 54,995), ZenBook 14 UX433 (price starting at Php 62,995), and ZenBook 15 UX533 (price starting at Php 74,995)—sporting a whopping screen-to-body ratio of up to 95%, and packed with the latest ASUS NanoEdge display. The new ZenBook models also prides itself on an innovative ErgoLift hinge which tilts the keyboard at a comfortable angle fit for typing and doubles as way to let air flow from beneath the laptop to further reduce heat. All of these ZenBook series additions are equipped 8GB to 16GB RAM with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q graphics.
Meanwhile, the ZenBook Pro 14 UX480 (price starting at Php 94,995) promises to increase its user’s productivity by introducing the new ScreenPad: an ASUS innovation which allows the user to access different programs, apps and even their phone’s notifications and messages at the same time while using the laptop. This intelligent touchpad will be supplemented by new apps designed solely for the ScreenPad, promising to boost its capabilities and features. The ZenBook Pro 14 is powered by a Intel Core i7-8565U processor with an integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi, 16GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q graphics coupled with an FHD display pre-calibrated PANTONE validated for color accuracy. This ultra-slim laptop also contains built-in support for Windows Cortana and Amazon Alexa voice services.
The ZenBook S UX391FA (price starting at Php 69,995) on the other hand, possesses a battery life of up to 20 hours and is housed in an military grade (MIL-STD-810G) casing that has passed rigorous durability tests. At 13.3 inches, the ZenBook S proves itself a worthy companion for people on-the-go as it is powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processor with an 8GB RAM.
As for the VivoBook S15 S530 (price starting at Php 63,995) together with the S14 S430 (price starting at Php 60,995), ASUS aims for the young and young at heart express themselves with these new models. Both laptops are not just lightweight and powerful, but are also stylish and available in five different colors. As with the ZenBook series, the VivoBook units also feature the ErgoLift Hinge, NanoEdge display, an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, comes with either a 4GB and 8GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete graphics.
