Here’s another Android phone from Acer that’s going to be available by the end of the month. The Acer Liquid Mini is a simple yet colorful entry-level full touchscreen phone that might suit your needs. We don’t really know how the Liquid E fared in our country but here’s the mini version of it. It follows the same curves but on a smaller frame.
The Acer Liquid E features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 320 x 480 resolution. It is powered by a 600MHz processor and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo with Acer’s own UI layering on top of it. There’s a 5 megapixel camera at the back with no LED flash on sight and pretty much all the basic stuff an entry-level Android phone has.
It will arrive at the end of the month with a price tag estimated to be less than Php12,000 and will come in 5 different colors: Royal Blue, Jet Silver, Light Pink, Lime Green and Piano Black. It’s going to be a direct competitor of HTC’s upcoming Wildfire S in terms of specs. Cheaper but with a plastic build and last-year’s Android OS.
