Acer was recently recognized on the Forbes list as one of the World’s Top Companies for Women, ranked at 259. The company was also ranked 12th in the Semiconductors, Electronics, Electrical, Engineering, Technology Hardware & Equipment category.

Sue Ong-Lim, Managing Director of Acer Philippines, is a leader of 139 employees. In 2009, she started as a Senior Sales Executive, and was recently promoted to Managing Director.
She said, “Acer has 34.7% and 39% market share of consumer and gaming notebooks in the Philippines, respectively. This means that nearly a third of Filipinos who have a laptop own an Acer. The company has decades of building and strengthening brand equity through consistent sales, marketing, and customer service efforts. I see that as our edge over our competitors”.
“I believe in equality and inclusivity and that people, regardless of gender, are what make an organization special and successful” she also added.
