It’s not only Oppo that seems to jump on the bezel-less smartphone bandwagon, as Chinese tech giant ZTE is also reported to create a new flagship smartphone with an edge-to-edge screen dubbed as the Nubia Z9, now confirmed through leaked pictures of an advertisement spot for a TV station in China.
The said advertisement for Jiangsu TV is a 30-second spot that will showcase the smartphone’s features. The spot is said to be focused on its bezel-less design, and retains the red circular halo home button ZTE Nubia devices are known for.
As for what will be under the hood, the upcoming offering from ZTE’s camera-centric Nubia line will reportedly feature a Snapdragon 810 chip coupled with 3GB RAM and a 21-megapixel rear camera, all enclosed with a 5.2-inch display, and will arrive with Android Lollipop.
We might get more information heading onto the official of the ZTE Nubia Z9 early next month, so stay tuned.
