Yahoo just released a new app that helps users stay updated with current events: introducing the Yahoo WakingNews Alarm Clock, which creates alarms that play news briefings instead of the usual alarm noises. With WakingNews, you can customize which news sources you want the app to draw content from. Whether it be HuffPost, Engadget, Yahoo News, or others.
The app allows users to curate their own custom playlists across different topics such as Finance, Sports, Tech, or Entertainment. Additionally, WakingNews also includes updates on the day’s weather conditions and forecast.
The Yahoo WakingNews Alarm Clock app is still currently in development and is only available in selected regions until further notice.
