Right on schedule, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro officially enters the smartphone competition as it was finally unveiled to the world today.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is the Chinese smartphone company’s first device to have that infamous notch on its display. It flaunts a 5.84-inch FHD+ screen in 19:9 aspect ratio in 2280 x 1080 resolution. Its internals come with a lineup of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz combined with an either 3GB of RAM with 32GB of onboard storage or a 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM, both expandable up to 256GB via microSD.
In terms of its cameras, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has a dual rear camera setup comprised of a 12-megapixel plus 5-megapixel sensors. Its selfie camera is a 5-megapixel one with AI and smart beauty features. For its battery, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro runs on a 4,000mAh stamina.
Available in colors of red, cherry blossom, sand gold, and black, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is priced at CNY 999 (around PhP 8,100) for the 3GB + 32GB standard model. The 4GB + 32GB variant and the 4GB + 64GB version are tagged at CNY 1,199 (aroun PhP 9,800) and CNY 1,299 (around PhP 10,600) respectively. No announcement yet on whether this device will land locally.
