Xiaomi has been famous in using the “flash sale” style to sell products here in the Philippines. This applied to almost all their products like the battery pack and smartphones. Not anymore. Xiaomi announced that they are now making the Xiaomi Redmi 1S available anytime you want it. This is the first but with a first, may follow second. Will this be applied to all their elusive units here in the Philippines?
As explained, the flash sale model allows Xiaomi to ship the items in bulk, reducing logistic costs. They only do the open sale model if they can fulfill the demand because they said that there’s no use to use the open sale model if the units will run out of stock in a couple of days. Xiaomi Mi3 status has been changed to “open sale” model already in Singapore and Malaysia.
